School Nurse
I earned my bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1998 from Dickinson State University in North Dakota. Once I graduated I decided to travel as a nurse. This has taken many places as far as The US Virgin Islands to San Francisco CA and winding up in Ithaca in 2003. In 2005 my first daughter was born and I had the great privilege of being a stay at home dad. My second daughter was born in 2007 and I also had the chance to see all those milestones first hand. When my youngest started school, I returned to the nursing profession. I have always enjoyed working with kids, and when the opening became available in 2013 at New Roots I jumped right in, and have been here ever since. It has been the most rewarding job I have had.
