New Roots Charter School is now accepting enrollment forms from students in grades 9-12.

Please note that if the number of students who wish to enroll exceeds the number of openings, a waiting list will be formed.

Students who are interested in a challenging, project-oriented, college preparatory high school program are encouraged to enroll.

New Roots is designed to support the success and well being of all students, so students
who have not felt as successful or as challenged as they'd like in other school settings can
feel confident that they will receive the support they need to be successful in our
program. We encourage students who receive special education services and/or those
who speak English as a second language to enroll.

Your First step:

• Complete our online enrollment inquiry form, which will let us know that you are interested in receiving more information about enrollment at New Roots. A staff person will contact you within a few days of receiving your inquiry.

Your Second Step:

• Download and fill out the pdf file of our Student Enrollment Form below. This can be mailed to us, dropped off at school, scanned and emailed or faxed to us. We also have hard copies of this form which we can mail or email to you. You may also stop in to pick one up.

Next:

Once we receive your Student Enrollment Form, you will be part of a growing "pool" of prospective students for next year, and we will confirm receipt of your enrollment form.  If the number of enrollment forms we receive exceeds the number of available spaces in any given grade, we will hold a public lottery on April 16th.

Please encourage anyone you know who is interested in learning more about the school to do so before the Monday, April 16th deadline to ensure that they maximize their chances of being admitted for the 2012-2013 school year. The window of opportunity may only last a few months.

After April 16th we will inform all prospective students of their enrollment status.
