Meryl comes to New Roots by way of Sarah Lawrence College and Cornell Law School, with a variety of stops along the way.  She believes that every child is entitled to a free and appropriate public education, and loves working in a place that is wholly committed to making that mandate a reality.  On the home front, Meryl lives in a shoe with her husband and eight million children and is anxiously awaiting the real-world invention of the robot nanny.
