A High School Semester Program

Woolman Semester

With a vision of peace, justice and environmental sustainability, the Woolman Semester challenges young adults to think critically about issues facing their community and world today.  Global issues are understood through active learning, inside and outside of the classroom. In the beautiful foothills of California's Sierra Nevadas, students practice skills of public speaking, reading, and writing; experience wilderness, service learning, and intensive trips; work on sustainaibility and social justice projects individually and in groups; and attend relevant local events.  For more information about the Woolman Semester visit http://www.woolman.org/index.cfm
