Hi New Roots!  I am very excited to be joining the school as the Assistant to the Principal. I grew up in Yonkers, NY and attended public schools there.  I went to Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL where I received by BS in Psychology and Sociology and a Minor in English.  I have many years of experience as an administrative assistant, contract manager, medical underwriter, benefits administrator, office manager, project manager and in event planning.   I have been employed  by  many companies throughout my career including Mutual  of New York, IBM, and most recently the American Red Cross Tompkins County Chapter.

I moved to Ithaca almost 3 years ago from Mt. Kisco, NY and really enjoy living in the Finger Lakes region.  In my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading, gardening and spending time with my family and cats! I am looking forward to meeting all of you and being part of the administrative and support staff here at New Roots.
