Show Your Support

How can you show your support for New Roots Charter School and for innovative, learner-centered sustainability education in Tompkins County? Here are some ways:

• Write a letter in support, and send it to the editors of your local newspapers, to your friends, and to us to post on our website.  To send a letter to the Ithaca Journal, go to http://www.theithacajournal.com/section/CUSTOMERSERVICE03 To send a letter to the Times, go to www.ithacatimes.com and scroll to the bottom of the page, "send us your letters".

• Add your name to a rapidly-growing list of supporters that will also be posted on this website!  Use the "send us a message" button at the top of the page.  Please include the statement, "Please add my name to the list of people who endorse New Roots as a good investment for our community to make at this time" and give us your name as you'd like it to appear on the list.

• Wear an "I Support New Roots Charter School" button or place a bumper sticker on your car, bike, backpack or guitar case. Both are available at the New Roots office, along with "Ithaca Has New Roots" t-shirts and other NRCS gear.

• Make a donation to one of our programs. This can be done right on our homepage (see "donate now" button).

• Volunteer! Send us an email with your interests and we'll do our best to match your skills to our needs.

• Spread the word! If you know teens entering 9th-12th grade next school year, make sure they have the information they need to make an informed choice about where to go to high school.
