2010-2011 Announcement of Volunteer Opportunities at New Roots Charter School:
New Roots Charter School seeks responsible, diverse and dynamic volunteers to support our program in a number of program areas including:
- Academic tutoring (one-one, small group)
- Classroom Assistance
- Mentoring
- Kitchen Help
- Administrative/Office Support (including web site development)
- Coaching athletic clubs, leading/supporting recreational activities
- Enrichment Workshop leaders (college prep, honors seminars, special topics)
- Elective course instructors
- Building maintenance
- Special projects
We are also open to discussing college student internships and work-study placements.
