Teens: Taste a "Slice" of the New Roots Experience
August 9th, 2010
On three Fridays in August – 8/13, 8/20 and 8/27 from 1-3 pm – all area teens entering grades 9, 10 and 11 are invited to join New Roots students and teachers for fun, free and educational afternoon activities including yoga, hikes, chess, bike riding, vermicompost building, Commons beautification, soccer, marshmallow construction, dance lessons, service projects and more.

- Cornell Dump ‘N Run student re-use pre-sale set-up (includes pizza lunch and pre-sale shopping privileges)
- NRCS Bike Fleet painting party
- Westhaven Farm Work Day
- Adventures at Six Mile Creek (hike, swim, natural history)
